What is in mold labels?

In-mold labeling (IML) is a process in which producing plastic packaging and labeling, plastic packaging are done at the same time during manufacturing. IML is commonly used with blow molding to create containers for liquids.

Polypropylene or polystyrene is normally used as label material in this process. In mould labeling is used for long life of consumer goods. The advantages of in mould labels are they are moister resistance and temperature resistance, durable and hygienic.

The label area of the oil drum is relatively large, the surface of the oil drum is relatively rough and the storage environment is relatively poor. Most of the film materials are used as the first choice. The film label can better overcome the problem of label warping caused by the lack of flexibility of paper labels. It is suitable for the engine oil industry, and the majority of engine oil companies are very satisfied.
