Epson provides the ink jet printing platform designed to meet the needs of the most demanding professionals. The Epson Stylus Pro 4880 incorporates print resolutions up to 2880 x 1440 and breakthrough new 8-color ink technology, forcing us to reconsider what’s possible from photographic ink jet printing. The trade proven DFS handles the converting side of this total solution. Lamination, die cutting, waste removal, slitting to individual rolls and rewinding are all accomplished in one production pass without the cutting dies, set-ups and waste associated with conventional processes. A Dell “small form factor” computer including a Pentium 4 processor and a full GIG of RAM drives all of this state of the art digital technology. All operating software, Adobe Illustrator CS3 and a Wasatch SoftRIP are loaded on the machine and ready to run.

The DLS provides end users with their own “in house” solution to minimum quantities, long lead times and custom shapes. The professional converter can provide their current customers with “value added” capabilities while responding to the increasing demand for high quality, short run, custom labels.
